Trust & Safety

Last updated: October 1, 2026

DesiCouplesZ is a community for verified adults. Safety is a shared effort between members and DCZ Media Holdings LLC (“DCZ”). This page explains, in general terms, how reporting and enforcement work and what you can do to protect yourself. It should be read with our Community Guidelines, Take It Down Act Policy, Terms of Service and Online Safety Guide.

In immediate danger, or if a child is at risk? Contact your local emergency services first. DCZ is not an emergency service, does not monitor reports around the clock and cannot send help.

1. A members-only, adults-only community

DCZ is for people aged 18 or over. Members complete verification before they can take part. Verification is a safeguard, not a guarantee: it does not confirm that a member is truthful, safe, lawful or suitable for you, and DCZ does not vouch for any member. Use your own judgement every time you communicate with, or meet, anyone.

2. How to report

  • In the app or website: use the Report control on any profile, photo, message, group, event or post. This is the fastest route because it attaches the content to your report.
  • Block: blocking a member stops them contacting you and hides you from each other. You can block without reporting.
  • By email: write to support@desicouplesz.app (general) or compliance@desicouplesz.app (illegal content, intimate images shared without consent, legal matters). Include links, usernames, dates and screenshots where you can. We aim to reply within 2 business days to general reports.

3. What happens after a report

Reports are triaged, with the most serious (children, non-consensual intimate images, threats, coercion) handled first. We may remove or restrict content, warn a member, limit features, suspend or permanently end an account, preserve records, and report to the authorities where the law requires or permits. We decide what action, if any, to take in our sole discretion. We may not tell you what we decided, because outcomes involve other members' privacy. A report does not guarantee any particular result or timetable.

Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness, repetition and risk, we may apply one or more of: content removal; a warning; reduced visibility; temporary or permanent loss of features; account suspension; permanent ban and blocking of the associated details from future sign-up. Serious violations can lead to immediate permanent removal without warning, and fees paid are not refunded except where the law requires.

4. Content we never allow

  • Any content involving a person under 18, in any form. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to other authorities as 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and equivalent laws require.
  • Intimate images or video shared without the consent of everyone depicted, including threats to share them. See the Take It Down Act Policy.
  • Coercion, blackmail, extortion, trafficking, exploitation, sexual services for payment, scams and impersonation.
  • Threats, harassment, stalking, hate, doxxing and the sharing of another person's private information or private content.
  • Anything unlawful where you are, where the other person is, or where DCZ operates.

5. Protect yourself

  • Keep conversations on the Platform until you are sure of someone. Never send money, gift cards, crypto or financial details to anyone you meet here.
  • Never share images you would not want shared. Anyone who receives an image can copy it, and DCZ cannot recall copies made outside the Platform.
  • If you meet in person, tell a friend where you are going, meet in a public place first, arrange your own transport and trust your instincts.
  • Use privacy controls: hide your profile, control who can message you, and block anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
  • Report anything that looks like a scam, a fake profile or pressure to move to another app.

6. Appeals

If you believe action on your account was a mistake, email support@desicouplesz.app within 30 days with your username and the reason. We may, but are not obliged to, review and reverse a decision. Our decision on an appeal is final, and we may refuse to reinstate any account where we consider there is a risk to other members.

7. Requests from authorities and legal process

We respond to valid legal process and to emergency disclosure requests that show a genuine risk of death or serious physical harm. Send requests to compliance@desicouplesz.app, from an official address, identifying the legal basis and the records sought. We may notify the member affected unless the law or the request prevents it. We may preserve records on receipt of a lawful request. Records we hold are described in our Privacy Policy. We respond within 5 business days, and sooner for genuine emergencies.

8. Limits of what we can do

We cannot see or control what happens off the Platform, we cannot guarantee that every violation is found or removed, and content may be copied before we act. Members are responsible for their own choices and conduct.

Legal Terms Applying to this Trust & Safety Policy

Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Trust & Safety Policy is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here, including “DCZ Parties”, have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. If this Trust & Safety Policy and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service control, except that where a statute requires a specific process for a specific kind of notice, that statutory process governs that notice. Operator of the Platform: DCZ Media Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

No duty, no warranty

DCZ is an interactive computer service that hosts content created and shared by its members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, including 47 U.S.C. § 230 and equivalent intermediary-liability protections in other jurisdictions, DCZ is not the publisher or speaker of member content and does not adopt it. Nothing in this Trust & Safety Policy creates a duty of care, a duty to monitor, a duty to remove, or a duty to act on any particular timetable towards any member, any person depicted in content, any reporter or any other third party, beyond the duties that a statute imposes on DCZ and that cannot be excluded. Descriptions of what DCZ does, tries to do or aims to do describe good-faith practices that may change at any time; they are not guarantees, warranties or promises of any result, and no person is entitled to rely on them as such. Our systems and our team can and will make mistakes, miss content and act late.

Good-faith action is protected

DCZ may, in its sole discretion and without notice, remove or restrict any content, decline to remove any content, limit, suspend or end any account, preserve and disclose records to the extent the law allows or requires, and report matters to authorities. Action taken, or not taken, in good faith is protected to the fullest extent of 47 U.S.C. § 230(c) and every other protection the law provides, and no member acquires any claim against the DCZ Parties because of it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the DCZ Parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm or emotional distress, arising from or related to this Trust & Safety Policy, any report or request made under it, any action or inaction by DCZ under it, or any content or conduct of any member or other third party. The aggregate liability limits, the sole-remedy clause and the exclusions in § 12 of the Terms of Service apply in full to every claim concerning this Trust & Safety Policy.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the DCZ Parties from and against every claim, demand, investigation, proceeding, loss, liability, damage, penalty, fine, cost and expense (including reasonable legal fees, expert fees and the cost of responding to a regulator, court order or law-enforcement request) arising out of or connected with: (a) content you post, send or upload; (b) your conduct on or off the Platform; (c) any report, notice, request or counter-notice you submit, including any that is inaccurate, misleading, malicious, made in bad faith or made without the authority you claim; (d) your breach of this Trust & Safety Policy, the Terms of Service or any law; and (e) any claim by a person depicted in, or affected by, your content or conduct. This indemnity applies even where the claim alleges that a DCZ Party was negligent, to the fullest extent the law allows, but not to the extent a court of competent jurisdiction finally determines the loss was caused by that DCZ Party's own fraud or wilful misconduct. DCZ controls the defence and settlement of any claim it chooses to defend, and you will cooperate. This obligation survives the end of your account. If you are a consumer, it applies only to the extent the law of your country permits.

Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the DCZ Parties from all claims, known or unknown, arising from the content, conduct or communications of other members and third parties, and from DCZ's good-faith decisions under this Trust & Safety Policy. If you are a California resident you waive California Civil Code § 1542 and any equivalent law of another jurisdiction, to the extent the waiver is permitted.

Disputes

The governing law, the individual-arbitration and class-action waiver and the venue provisions in § 16 of the Terms of Service apply to every dispute concerning this Trust & Safety Policy. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law permits a shorter period.

General

This Trust & Safety Policyconfers no rights on any third party, and no person is a third-party beneficiary of it. If any part is held unenforceable, that part is limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest remains in force. DCZ's failure to enforce any part is not a waiver. DCZ may update this Trust & Safety Policy at any time by posting the revised version with a new date; continued use after the date means you accept it. This page explains our practices in general terms and is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing here limits any right you have under a law that cannot be waived.
